The shutters pictured above are 2 1/2" plantation.   This is a bay window.  The two outside narrow windows are one panel units.  The middle window is a two panel unit.

Thickness describes the panel thickness.  Our standard panel thickness is 7/8" thick.  We also make a 1 1/4" thick panel for larger shutters.

Louvers are the individual slats that make up the panels.  They come in a variety of shapes and sizes.  We offer 1 1/4", 1 7/8", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", and 4 1/2" size louvers.

Staples are u-shaped hooks that are used to attach the tilt rod to the louvers.
